My name is Rob H. D’Arc, and I am a professional puppeteer… with Parkinson’s. My career has spanned over forty years, but the tremors that started in my left hand three years ago put my career, and my calling, in jeopardy. With the help of my wonderful neurologist, Dr. Pravin Khemani, and all the medication afforded to me by my Medicaid insurance in Washington state, I continue to work, making art and puppets to sell at the Pike Place Market in Seattle, where I live, in a low income live /work studio apartment with a view of Eliot Bay.
